"Islam in Europe" October 11 2017 - May 2018
The Woolf Institute based in Cambridge, England is a global leader in addressing one of the most pressing and rewarding challenges of our time: the current and historical relationships that exist between the faith-traditions of Judaism, Islam and Christianity, with special reference to Europe and the Middle East.
On occasion of the opening of Woolf Institute's the new building I am delighted to launch my photographic exhibition "Islam in Europe". The exhibition illustrates the diversity of Islam in Europe and the close links between Islam, Christianity and Judaism and invites a constructive interreligious dialogue.
The Official Opening: 11 October 2017, 5pm
Place: Woolf Institute
12-14 Grange Road Cambridge, UK
Period: October 11 2017 - May 2018

Europe And Its Muslim Legacies - Twelve Centuries of Muslim Presence in Europe
8 European countries including Turkey are involved. As an associate partner, I have also participated with my work. The visitor is invited to participate in a journey from the eighth to the twenty-first centuries that will take them from Cordoba to Palermo, from Istanbul to Sarajevo, and on to our contemporary cities. The exhibition uses all means of innovative museography to provoke intelligent thought and emotion: immersive settings, interactive media, visuals, olfactory devices, common objects, and ancient and contemporary works of art. The exhibition will be created in two formats, so that it can be presented in spaces of varying capacity and travel around Europe.
I hope that both Muslims and non-Muslims will benefit from this exhibition. For further details please visit: http://expo-islam.be/.
