There approximately 25 million Muslims are living in Europe. The diversity of Islam in Europe is unique and it is this that I make visible with my photography.

I take photographs of the mosques in operation, from within and from outside, at varying angles and illuminations. Objects of my photography include besides the mosques, Quran reading, Moslem ceremonial gatherings, weddings and burial. The images are taken with professional camera and accessories of high quality.

As well as that, I record description of the photographed mosque, its architecture, history, construction details, sponsors etc. and translate it in other languages - German, French, Italian etc.

My final collection will be a solid foundation for a detailed and illustrated book, which would inspire the entire Moslem community to know one another. This includes of course, Moslems living in the Islamic states.

I present - with commentary in Danish, German, English and Italian - slide-shows of my work at schools and for Muslim and Christian communities.
